Is a Nebraska nonprofit corporation (501c3) whose objectives are:
- to provide information services to members, consumers, health care professionals, and to those in training for health science occupations
- develop union lists of health science holdings
- promote shared use of resources to avoid unnecessary duplication and/or cost
- provide educational opportunities for those interested in health science information and resources
- develop methods for improving user access to member libraries
- promote library use
- provide a forum for open communication among members
