Is a Nebraska nonprofit corporation (501c3) whose objectives are:

• to provide information services to members, consumers, health care professionals, and to those in training for health science occupations
• develop union lists of health science holdings
• promote shared use of resources to avoid unnecessary duplication and/or cost
• provide educational opportunities for those interested in health science information and resources
• develop methods for improving user access to member libraries
• promote library use
• provide a forum for open communication among members
